About Kosova Sealines

After several months of discussion with authorities from Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia as well as deep analysis of the Cargo and passenger’s traffic, the protagonists decided to pursue the idea of launching a shipping company for the maritime transport of passengers and vehicles under the name of Kosova Sealines. As stated by a former prime minister: “Kosova is a country destination in which to live, to work and to visit. Our country deserves a marine transportation system for this reason we will support the initiative of Kosova Sealines”

Kosova Sealines will operate regular services, connecting Italy with Albania with a night ferry completely refurbished in 1999-2000. During all the year Kosova Sealines will connect the Italian port of Trieste with the Albanian port of Durres and operates with minimum 3 calls per week with regular departures.

   

As a provider of ferry service in the region, Kosova Sealines recognizes its unique role in the local economy. From maintaining a constant flow of goods and services, to linking families and friends, to attracting tourists to our many unique destinations, our company is a key participant in the development of our communities.

With this in mind, our company has developed a 10-year ship and terminal replacement and upgrade program that will ensure our ability to meet increasing demand.
